5 legendary Longines
Longines has been present in the town of St-Imier in the Swiss Jura Mountains since 1832. One of the secrets of its success is that it takes great care to respect and build on its own traditions and heritage, while also incorporating technological and technical innovations into its timepieces.
At the same time, it is able to offer watches that meet high quality standards at competitive prices compared to its competitors.
Let's look at five examples of this!
HYDROCONQUEST – L3.781.3.96.9
Elegance and performance: launched in 2007, HydroConquest perfectly embodies this dual requirement within the Longines Sport segment. One of the most successful model families in the entire collection worldwide, it can accompany us in water sports and other extreme conditions, while its elegant design complements our appearance.

DOLCEVITA – L5.767.4.73.0
The DolceVita model family has been part of the Longines range since 1997, and when it was created, the Swiss watchmaker's designers were naturally inspired by the Italian lifestyle and effortless elegance. The mechanical movement introduced to the series a few years ago allows for a larger case size and thus a more distinctive, masculine appearance.
The prototype for this unique, segmented dial can be found in Longines' Art Deco watches from the 1920s.

AVIGATION BIGEYE – L2.816.1.93.2
In many cases, developments for military purposes also find their way into civilian use. The attachment of timepieces originally intended as pocket watches to the wrist is also related to wartime situations: officers chose this solution as early as the 19th century, as it did not seem practical to take out a pocket watch while sitting on horseback during battle.
Movement: L688 column wheel automatic chronograph movement, 66-hour power reserve, silicon hairspring, 5-year warranty

The first Silver Arrow model was launched in 1956, the result of an in-house competition in which more than 400 entries were submitted. The engraving on the back of the watch depicts a supersonic aircraft flying among the stars.
