The Mido brand has been at the forefront of the watch industry for a century. Renowned for its commitment to Swiss watchmaking traditions and technological innovation, the manufacturer is now rethinking the Multifort series, perfecting it in every detail. The history of the Multifort collection dates back to 1934, and since then it has been one of the brand's most iconic series, combining sporty elegance and reliable performance, usually with a new and exciting look.

This article introduces two brand new versions of the Multifort Skeleton Chronograph, which feature the most exciting technical and aesthetic solutions in modern watchmaking. These models are characterized by a skeletonized, lightweight dial, which makes the watch both light and impressive.

The new Multifort Skeleton chronograph models are real eye-catchers. One version combines a steel gray, slightly anthracite color scheme with a polished and satin-finished steel strap, while the other is more dynamic, vibrant blue dial and matching rubber strap.

One common feature of the models is the 43-millimeter stainless steel case, which is both sporty and elegant, emphasizing durability and detailed craftsmanship in every detail. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters, so it can be worn with confidence at the beach, by the pool, or even in the bath.

The real special feature of the Multifort Skeleton Chronograph is its dial, which, as mentioned earlier, is cut out to reveal the mechanism beneath. The automatic chronograph movement, christened Mido Caliber 60, has a power reserve of up to 60 hours. One of the pillars of the movement's technical excellence is the Nivachron™ hairspring, which provides outstanding resistance to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks, thus guaranteeing the watch's accuracy.

The three subdials on the sapphire crystal glass-protected dial help the wearer to measure time reliably. The small seconds dial is located at 9 o'clock, the 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock. Another special feature of these models is the tachymeter scale painted on the edge of the dial, which allows the wearer to measure average speed.

The dial indices and hands feature a Super-LumiNova® phosphorescent coating that glows white in daylight and blue-green in the dark, ensuring easy readability in all conditions. The steel bracelet model is elegant yet sporty, while the blue rubber strap version is tailored to a dynamic, active lifestyle. Both versions feature quick-change straps, allowing you to easily adapt your style to the occasion.

The sapphire crystal case back reveals the mysteries of the watch's mechanism. The lightened balance wheel, finely crafted gears and pearl-finished movement on the base plate are a real treat for watch enthusiasts. Every detail of the Multifort Skeleton chronographs reflects a harmony of technical precision, innovation, and sporty elegance, while remaining true to the decades-long tradition of the Multifort collection.
