The history of Longines dates back to 1832, when the brand's predecessor established its first workshop in Saint-Imier, Switzerland. The iconic rectangular stainless steel case gives the watch an elegant look without compromising its durability. Half of the collection features a rectangular dial with a silver-colored flinqué dial. Flinqué is a variation of the guilloché surface decoration technique. The dial, divided into circular sections, features circular engravings that resemble a finely lace curtain. The dial also features painted Roman numerals, hence the name of this version: Roman. The design is complemented by dark blue steel hands and a small square seconds hand positioned at 6 o'clock.

The other half of the collection boasts the so-called Cosmo dial. This model is characterized by a contrasting effect with the square case, as the dial is circular in this case. The sandblasted dial still features Roman numerals, adapted to the circular shape. Another difference is that the small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock is also circular.
