
BASELWORLD 2018 - Presentation of Breitling's new products

Last year, Breitling underwent enormous changes. After the company was acquired by Chinese capital, we were all waiting to see how things would develop. However, the prognosis was clear: the helm was taken by George Kern, the former CEO of IWC, who had been at the helm of the Schaffhausen-based company for more than 15 years. There is no point in arguing about whether he was successful—IWC is an extremely successful company today.
But let's get back to Breitling itself. I have often heard from colleagues in the industry that it is time for a change of direction, and I couldn't disagree more. Fortunately, the constant promotion of muscular designs with huge cases is behind us, and we now have a completely new Breitling with a new logo; the wings are gone, and we only have the B. But let's take a look at what's new for 2018:
