Daniel Ricciardo, F1 driver and TAG Heuer ambassador, wins the 2018 Monaco Grand Prix. Monte Carlo, May 27, 2018: TAG Heuer is delighted to celebrate and congratulate Daniel Ricciardo, driver for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, on his victory in the Monaco Grand Prix.
TAG Heuer is the official watch of this race, and its ambassadors traditionally attend the Grand Prix Party on the Seadream yacht. The yacht is moored in the Port of Monaco near the legendary F1 circuit, which runs along Monte Carlo Street. Host Jean Claude Biver, head of TAG Heuer and the entire LVMH watch division, welcomed Daniel on board this year, along with five-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady, supermodel and Instagram star Bella Hadid, singer Geri Halliwell, Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega, cyclist Cadel Evans, and rugby player Dan Carter.
In accordance with this year's dress code, everyone arrived dressed in white, and in keeping with TAG Heuer tradition, the event did not begin in an ordinary manner. The party commenced like a rugby match with a ceremonial kick-off by Tom Brady from the Sunderam yacht across the sea towards Daniel Ricciardo's boat, who masterfully caught it at full speed and threw it back to the guests on the yacht.
The Australian's excellent perception and speed were clearly still there on the second day, when he started from pole position in the main race of the Monaco Grand Prix.
