Nové Omega Diver 300 James Bond sa hlásia do služby

Daniel Craig is already working feverishly on filming his latest No Time To Die. According to preliminary information, the story will also take place in Jamaica, where Ian Fleming wrote his first novel Dr. No.

We will certainly have to wait a while longer for the film, as the premiere is scheduled for April 3, 2020. But what you don't have to wait for, I hope, is the new limited edition Omega Seamaster James Bond, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" starring George Lazenby.
Omega used the current Diver 300 model as a basis. The many elements referring to the film saga will certainly delight a large number of fans who appreciate the explicit attention to detail.
The ceramic dial is designed to resemble the view through a gun barrel; the bordered center has a precise diameter of 9 mm. We have encountered the same symbol before, when Omega introduced a model for the 50th anniversary of James Bond as such - the Diver model was also used, the older one, and on the back cover you could also see a drilled barrel and a rotating rotor with a 9 mm cartridge. I personally remember that we ordered five pieces for our warehouse, received three, and sold everything within three days. It was a limited edition of 11,007 pieces. (second photo below the text)

The robust 42 mm case of the new models is made of steel and ceramic on the bezel. The dial features gold details referencing the 50th anniversary of the film in radiant 18-carat yellow gold. The 12 o'clock position is dominated by the Bond family crest. This is displayed in all its glory on the case back.

But that's not all. Another, more sophisticated detail can be found inside the "10" index under Super-LumiNova, namely the number 50, which is only visible in the dark – very clever. What also appealed to me was the date ring, with a special 007 font used to mark the 7th day of the month. On the side of the case, you will find a gold, screwed-on "plate" with the model's production number, the only weakness of an otherwise very nice model...

Inside, it will feature a standard, high-precision manufactured caliber master co-axial 8800 with a respectable power reserve of 55 hours. A total of 7,007 pieces will be produced, and although many people may be familiar with the combination of limited edition and the number 7,007, please note that Omega is truly unique, and I will be very surprised if even one piece appears in our country, but we are working on it.
The watches will be delivered in a tasteful gift box in the same colors as the limited edition. The package includes an additional steel bracelet with tools for changing it and a practical travel case. The retail price has not yet been determined.
