TAG Heuer pulled out all the stops at this year's Watches and Wonders, presenting a modernized collection of Carrera Day-Date and Twin-Time watches.
Visual innovations
Design modifications make the Carrera model even more attractive. The minute scale on the edge of the dial has been replaced by a double scale with luminescent dots on the hour indices. Another new feature is the arrow at the 3 o'clock position, which highlights the day and date indicator – which is also in the color of the dial, creating a visually uniform look. A big surprise is the beautiful red burgundy dial variant, which gives the watch a dynamic look.
Improved bracelet
The bracelet has also been modified and is now more ergonomic and comfortable to wear. The new system allows links to be removed without the need for tools, meaning that customers can adjust the length of the bracelet comfortably at home. In the two-tone model, the gold plating has been moved not only to the dial but also to the bracelet, giving the watch an even more elegant look.

New movement
A fundamental change is the new TH31-02 movement for Day-Date models and TH31-03 for Twin-Time. This caliber is manufactured exclusively for TAG Heuer by the top-tier AMT division, giving the watches a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
Twin-Time: an even bolder design
The Twin-Time models have undergone an even more striking visual transformation. They are more colorful, fresher, and bolder overall, giving them a modern and dynamic character. In terms of technical parameters, they remain water-resistant to 100 meters and have a case diameter of 41 mm.

Our impressions
Our personal impressions from our first encounter with the new Carrera are very positive. We particularly appreciate the new caliber, but also the many successful changes that significantly modernize the model range while still preserving the traditional DNA of Carrera, which has been TAG Heuer's flagship for many years. Our personal favorite is the Day-Date model with a red burgundy dial.
