The name Montblanc has always been associated with precision writing tools that reflect the pinnacle of artistic processing and technical sophistication. Founded in 1906 in Hamburg, Germany, where it resides till today, it has quickly gained a reputation as a manufacturer of quality pens. For her logo, the company chose a six-pointed white star symbolizing the permanently snowed peak of Europe's highest mountain, Montblanc.
